BSSP Hires First Technology Strategist

West Coast agency Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners has hired Bernard Meisler to fill the newly created position of technology strategist. Meisler is joining BSSP from MTV Networks in New York, where he worked as a senior Web developer, working primarily on the Nick and Nick Jr. franchises. Meisler will be charged with overseeing the agency's front-end development and engineering groups to build client brands. He will also focus on developing reusable code libraries to manage relationships with technology companies and pursue product development ideas and concepts. For the past 15 years, Meisler has developed multi-media, Web, software and a host of interactive technologies for brands including Coke, Sony Music, Citibank, and Morgan Stanley, among others.
