ATSUSHI MIYASAKA has been named vice president, sales liaison Japan for NBC Universal International Television Distribution. Miyasaka will be responsible for overseeing the free, pay and basic cable television sales of NBC Universal programming throughout Japan. Miyasaka joins NBC Universal from Walt Disney TV International in Japan, where he was vice president and deputy managing director responsible for the licensing and distribution of Disney product, including video-on-demand, as well as Disney’s channels business in the region.
