AskJeeves reported strong financial earnings for the First Quarter 2004. Revenues for the quarter ended March 31, 2004 were $39.2 million. These first quarter results represent 73 percent growth over revenues of $22.7 million for the comparable year-ago quarter.

"Q1 was another great quarter as our investments in technology, site experience and marketing paid off, said Steve Berkowitz, CEO AskJeeves.com, adding that "the queries on our proprietary sites grew by 42 percent year- over-year." Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities totaled $193.7 million as of March 31, 2004.
