Ad Campaign Rails Against Wal-Mart's Port Stance

  • March 23, 2007
First came the lack of health benefits for workers. Then the Julie Roehm scandal. Now Wal-Mart is contending with WakeUpWalMart.com, a new nationwide media initiative to pressure the company, the biggest importer of port containers, to reverse its lobbying efforts against 100% scanning of containers.
