Dow Jones & Co. said Thursday that it would participate in a joint venture to publish The Wall Street Journal for India, for five days a week aimed at global Indian business readers and international
business travelers. Dow Jones would own 26 percent of the new venture; Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. will own 74 percent. Benntt, Coleman owns the Times of India and The Economic Times. The newspaper
would be edited by Suman Dubey, who is currently Dow Jones' corporate representative in India.
