Starcom Captures Captivator, Taps Arc's Lowell To Oversee New Approach

In what is likely the first title of its kind at a major media shop, Starcom Wednesday said it hired John Lowell as vice president-director of captivation, responsible for overseeing a team of "captivation specialists." Lowell, who reports to Starcom Chief Client Officer Andrew Swinand, was vice president-director of Innovation at parent Publicis' Arc Worldwide unit.
