EarthLink Names Names In Spammer Litigation

Earthlink said it expanded a federal spam lawsuit to include the names of the suit's targets. On Wednesday, Earthlink said it amended its complaint because the spammers allegedly sent millions of messages from accounts created with stolen credit cards. The phony accounts were used to send spam messages for herbal Viagra and other items. EarthLink's original suit, filed in August, cited a group of "John Does."
