The merger of Nielsen and NetRatings was approved on Friday at a special meeting of NetRatings stockholders. NetRatings is now a privately held company, wholly owned by The Nielsen Company and its
subsidiaries. Shares of NetRatings' common stock, which had traded on Nasdaq, were delisted from trading at the close of Friday's market.
