MTV Networks Restructures Research Operations, Puts Giles In Charge

MTV Network's Entertainment Group announced a reorganization of its research department, putting Tanya Giles in charge as senior vice president, research and planning, with responsibility for strategic oversight of research and planning for all aspects of Comedy Central, TV Land and Spike TV, as well as digital properties like AtomFilms, iFilm, Xfire and Gametrailers. As part of the reorganization, Beth Coleman was named vice president-ad sales research for the entertainment cluster, and Sharon Light was named vice president-ad sales research for Comedy Central and Spike TV, and Rich Cornish was named vice president-ad sales research for TV Land and CMT.
