For the first time, TV spots for Cingular (now AT&T), GE and Brand Pepsi have been nominated for a Prime Time Commercial Emmy award.

All the spots were created by BBDO, N.Y, which garnered three of the seven spots nominated for Commercial Emmys this year by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

They are:

Cingular's "Battle," which earlier this year won a gold Effie from the American Marketing Association.

GE's "Jar," which won awards at AICP and the National ADDYs, is one of the latest commercials in the company's award-winning "Ecomagination" campaign that first launched in 2005.

Pepsi's "Pinball," one of Adweek's "Best" this year, is one of the commercials from the brand's new "More Happy" campaign that was launched earlier this year.
