IAC Taps Print Mogul For ServiceMagic.com

IAC/Interactive Corp. has named David Kahn as vice president of media solutions for ServiceMagic.com, its online home improvement marketplace.
Kahn most recently served as vice president of sales and business development at eco-friendly media firm BlueEgg.com, but he is a print industry veteran. A former publisher of Conde Nast's The New Yorker and Meredith's Country Home magazines, Kahn will oversee the development of ServiceMagic's newly launched print directory, as well as their online advertising solution.
"I'm joining ServiceMagic.com based on the company's vision of creating a new media model--one that leverages the strength of robust e-commerce franchises," Kahn said.
Although ServiceMagic.com is based in Colorado, Kahn will work out of IAC's New York headquarters, reporting to ServiceMagic's CEO and co-founder, Rodney Rice.
