Nine-year Yahoo veteran Jerry Shereshewsky--one-time "ambassador plenipotentiary" to Madison Avenue--is the latest marketing executive to leave Yahoo. He's become CEO of grandparents.com, an upcoming content and networking site for grandparents.

In an email to his network of colleagues, Shereshewsky says the ad-supported site will offer ways for boomer grandparents to pass on their legacy, knowledge, values and history.

This younger, more tech-savvy group of boomers, he says, are becoming grandparents at the rate of one every seven seconds.

Shereshewsky is also working as CMO of Laser Partners, a venture capital group which has invested money and manpower into grandparents.com.
