McDonald's Hosts Free Concerts

This week, McDonald's Live, a free, 10-city concert tour featuring emerging recording artists and the latest music releases, reaches Denver, having launched last Thursday in L.A.

The concerts take place in McDonald's restaurant parking lots. Consumers can view the concerts, check the tour schedule and buy concert T-shirts at mcdlive.com/. Visitors also can vote for their favorite artists. The musician or group with the most fan votes at the end of the tour will be featured in a McDonald's advertising campaign next year.

McDonald's Live performances will be promoted on Yahoo Music. Additionally, MTV will showcase content via its programming, live appearances and concert clips. McDonald's Live, Yahoo Music and MTV will also be featured on the back of McDonald's large and medium French fry boxes beginning Aug. 8.

Other cities the tour will visit are Chicago, New York metro, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Madison, Wisc., Kansas City and Austin, Texas.
