Yahoo! Gives Away Ad Space

In celebration of National Volunteer Week, Yahoo! is teaming up with VolunteerMatch to drive volunteer signups. VolunteerMatch, the national nonprofit website that makes it easier to find and sign up for local volunteer opportunities, will receive millions of online banner ads from Yahoo! during the week of April 21-27. More than 25 million targeted banner ads specifically promoting VolunteerMatch and National Volunteer Week are scheduled to appear throughout the Yahoo! network. In addition, the Yahoo! Careers section will include a page dedicated to the career benefits of volunteering. The donated advertising and promotion are valued at more than $500,000.
