E! Online Breaks Traffic Record

E! Online continues to break traffic records in 2002, achieving both its highest single day traffic ever in the days following the Academy Awards, as well as its single best month in the site's history during the first quarter of this year. While E! Entertainment Television saw its highest viewership in the network's history with a 3.6 rating during its Live from the Red Carpet Oscar pre-show, E! Online logged an unprecedented 22.3 million page views on March 25, 2002, the day following the Oscars, up 23 % over the previous year, and 23.7 million page views on March 26, 2002. Also on March 26, E! Online experienced its highest unique users in history, reported at 3.4 million for the day. The number of unique users in the month of March also proved record breaking at 7.7 million. E! Online also racked up 191 million page views in March, bringing the site's total page view tally for first quarter 2002 to 481.5 million page views. March results indicate that E! Online is well on its way to breaking total page view numbers in 2002, which totaled 1.3 billion in 2001.
