pretends to be taping a class with a nondescript professor who turns the class over to a celebrity like Elie Weisel, Madonna, Sen. John McCain or Bill Gates. "The students are clueless, until the
famous person actually enters the room," says Steve Friedman, general manager of MTVU. Among those lined up for this season are Ludacris, Annie Lennox and the president of Liberia, Ellen
Johnson-Sirleaf.
Bits of poetry will also be on tap, featuring the writings of John Ashberry, and MTVU will have lots of music, including viewer-submitted videos. "Our fall lineup is the most diverse schedule we're ever put together," Friedman says.
