Google Brings AdSense Onto Mobile

On the heels of putting its AdWords on mobile, Google on Tuesday, announced the availability of AdSense for Mobile, a program that contextually targets ads to mobile Web site content.

AdSense for Mobile also allows AdSense publishing partners the ability to earn revenue from their mobile Web sites through the targeted placement of mobile text ads.

The program was designed for AdSense partners who have created Web sites specifically for mobile browsers, and want to monetize their mobile content with contxtual ads.

The ads will run on an auction model.

AdSense for Mobile will be available in the U.S., England, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Russia, Netherlands, Australia, India, China, and Japan (available in the coming weeks).
