Satellite Aerial Mashups Lead To Sales Below
Using Geosemble's map fusion and image analysis technology, swimming pools, roofs in need of repair, cracked driveways, large open backyards, etc.--can be "seen" from above, and automatically cross-referenced with city parcel data to extract the names and addresses of their owners.
The resulting data are then provided to manufacturers of swimming pools and cleaning supplies, yard furniture, storage unit manufacturers, landscapers, and even contractors vying to fill open spaces with garage and house additions and backyard offices.
Geosemble's ability to automatically extract image data and fuse it with parcel information quickly creates a large volume of highly targeted sales leads for its customers.
"What we do is integrate information from multiple maps and online datasets into one 'supermap' that gives you deep information on the area of interest quickly and automatically," explains Dr. Craig Knoblock, Chief Scientist for Geosemble Technologies. "Our map fusion technology has been helping government agencies--and now commercial clients--to make better decisions earlier by putting the right information in their hands while their window of opportunity is still open."
