Mario Batali Web Series Debuts On SeriousEats.com

New York-based Serious Eats has launched "Mario Batali Unclogged"--an online video series that gets world-renowned chef Mario Batali to take off his trademark orange clogs and dish about cuisine.
The almost year-old Serious Eats bundles articles, recipes and elements like forums and dining recommendations to create a food and cooking-obsessed community--and "Mario Batali Unclogged" adds to the site's library of original and syndicated video content.
A new 1- to-2-minute episode of the Web series will premiere every Tuesday on the Serious Eats home page, as well as on Batali's separate "Unclogged" section of the site (where he contributes as a regular blogger). "It's really fun to work in the world of online video. Serious Eats is my kind of place--it's fast-paced, soulful, and real," said Batali.
