CBS Yanks "Viva Laughlin"

"Viva Laughlin," a song-and-dance drama pulled such low ratings that CBS yanked it after only two times on air. Film star Hugh Jackman, executive producer and cast member, is among the casualties of the show, his second cancellation after CW's "Online Nation." The series, based on British hit "Viva Blackpool," drew just 8.4 million viewers in its debut -- less than the number watched the show preceding it: "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." It fell further when it moved to its intended Sunday night time slot, with just 6.8 million viewers. This Sunday, it will be replaced by a "CSI" rerun and then reality series "The Amazing Race" will take over the slot.
