Internet Broadcasting Systems (IBS) and Cox Television yesterday announced that IBS will host and jointly operate local web sites for all 15 Cox-owned television stations in 11 markets. IBS will
assume responsibility for producing and hosting the sites as well as providing national sales and editorial services while local Cox Television staff continues to manage local editorial and sales
operations. The sites, re-launching over the next 30 days, will focus on up-to-the-minute local and national coverage, weather, station programming, local events and entertainment. The agreement also
includes five local city sites, previously managed by Cox Interactive Media, including BayInsider.com, SeattleInsider.com, goCarolinas.com, Pittsburgh.com and icFlorida.com.
