Amazon.com Expands Grocery Service In Seattle

  • November 29, 2007
Amazon.com Inc. is expanding the Seattle areas where its AmazonFresh grocery service is available, and is now giving away a bag of produce with a customer's first order.

The grocer operates independently from Seattle-based Amazon.com. According to the AmazonFresh Web site, "although Amazon.com founded AmazonFresh, AmazonFresh operates as an independent grocery delivery business ... We use Amazon.com data and systems to simplify your checkout process and get you shopping right away."
