Agency.com Acquires Exile on Seventh

Omnicom Group's Agency.com on Tuesday said that it acquired the assets of online advertising shop Exile on Seventh, San Francisco. The acquisition, the terms of which were not disclosed, comes just a day after aQuantive announced its plan to buy web services and development firm SBI.Razorfish for $160 million. Agency.com said Exile on Seventh will be rebranded "Agency" and folded into its San Francisco office by yearend. Agency said its itraffic unit's New York, Chicago, Dallas and San Francisco offices will also be rebranded with the Agency moniker. In London, the itraffic brand is set to continue. Alan Burgis, president of Exile on Seventh, will serve as senior vice president, reporting to Don Scales, president and operating chief of Agency.com.
