Zannino To Exit Dow Jones

Richard Zannino, the CEO of Dow Jones, will leave the company once its acquisition by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. is complete. He will be replaced by Les Hinton, the executive chairman of News International, who has long experience working with Murdoch. Before taking up the leadership position at News International in 1995, Hinton served as CEO of Murdoch's News America Publishing. The Wall Street Journal also said that the paper's publisher, L. Gordon Crovitz, will be replaced by another Murdoch appointee, Robert Thomson. Thomson is currently the editor of The Times of London, Murdoch's high-end flagship in the U.K. --Erik Sass
