Today, American Express Financial Advisors announced an aggressive new marketing strategy to increase awareness of the company as one of the leading financial services companies in the United States. This strategy begins with a television ad scheduled to premiere during Sunday's telecast of the Academy Awards on ABC. The ad will feature the new tagline "Make Life Rewarding" and is part of an overall campaign announced last week by American Express Company to reinforce the core values of the brand and importance of the customer-advisor relationship. Television ads are only one part of the yearlong campaign that focuses on a person's financial needs from birth to retirement. There are plans for print advertising, network sponsorships and Internet sponsorships in the future. Print ads promoting IRA rollovers through American Express appeared in national newspapers and magazines last month.
