HGTV is building its first "green" home, a 5,300-acre planned community near the beach resort of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. From March 21-May 9, the dates of the HGTV Green Home Giveaway,
viewers can enter to win the home and prize package, valued at approximately $850,000. Fans can get their first on-air tour March 23 at 9:00 p.m. The home will be decorated with eco-friendly products
and materials by designer Linda Woodrum, who has appeared on the past 11 HGTV Dream Homes.
