Lycos Europe NV today signed a 15-month marketing deal with Amazon.com Inc. to promote the Internet retailer on its Web portals. Under the terms of the agreement, Lycos will get commissions for sales
from users it directs to Amazon sites in certain European countries. The company declined to disclose further details of the contract.
