American Media, which publishes entertainment and health mags such as Star and Men's Fitness, named Dean Durbin executive vice president and CFO of American Media Operations, Inc. (AMOI), its
operating subsidiary. Previously, Durbin was CEO at Vertis Communications, a provider of print advertising and direct-marketing solutions.
