2 'Metro' Publishers Out

Two publishers are gone from the free newspaper Metro in Boston and New York, respectively. Daniel Magnus, Metro New York publisher for the past two years, is out, as is Stuart Layne, publisher of Metro Boston, per the New York Post. The New York Times Co. owns a 49% stake in the Boston edition. Metro's parent company is rumored to be selling its U.S. newspapers.
