Glad you liked our Pizza Tracker!! I wanted to take a moment and let you in on how the Pizza Tracker works... We are constantly monitoring every order in every single one of our store in REAL TIME. Our stores Point of Sale updates servers in Ann Arbor with its current location in the store at least every 60 seconds. It's really a wonder of amazement the first time I used the Pizza Tracker at our office located next to one of our stores and was able to walk next door the moment it said my pizza was ready -- and, to my amazement, there it was sitting on the rack.

So everything to the point of the delivery expert leaving the store is EXACT down to the minute. As for the UPS-like checking your order back in, currently that happens when the delivery expert gets back to the store and checks in to the computer system.

I would love more than anyone to lojack all of our delivery experts so we could look at a map on a computer and see 10 or 20 little dots tooling around the city.... That would be cool, huh....
