Mother Of Metrosexualism Joins Porter Novelli As CMO

PR heavyweight Porter Novelli says it has hired Marian Salzman as its next CMO, a new position for the agency.

Salzman, a branding expert and trend spotter, is currently executive vice president/chief marketing officer at JWT Worldwide, and she has also held key positions at Euro RSCG Worldwide, Young & Rubicam and TBWA.

Salzman is probably best-known, however, for her books on cultural shifts, including the 2003 Buzz, popularizing the term "metrosexual." Porter Novelli is owned by the Omnicom Group.
