Alltel Launches Application For Celebrity Voicemail Greetings

Alltel Wireless has gone Hollywood, launching a new application letting users personalize voice mail greetings with celebrity voices.

Created by mobile content developer 9 Squared, Voicemail MAX offers more than 500 audio clips from categories covering Hip-Hop celebrities, rock stars, sports, business, seasonal, and cartoons, among others.

The service features content from comedians Larry the Cable Guy, Steve Harvey, and Orlando Jones; rapper T.I.; and voices from Comedy Central's "Reno 911!". Greetings go for $2.99 apiece.
