LinkedIn Hires Advisory Board Member As VP

LinkedIn, the social network for professionals, has hired Ellen Levy as vice president of corporate development and strategy. Levy had previously served as a member of LinkedIn's advisory board for the last five years.
In addition to working with startups, Levy has also worked as the Director of Industry Collaboration and Research at Media X (a campus-wide network at Stanford University fostering partnerships between companies, faculty and students), and was the network advisor at venture capital firm Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
Levy still sits on the advisory boards of companies including Progress Financial and WeeWorld.
