Broadcast Nets Start Importing Shows

The broadcast nets are going into the import business, per Variety, looking for foreign shows that will click on our shores.
NBC plans to import "Crusoe" and "Merlin" from the U.K. and the Canadian drama "The Listener" for next season. Canadian TV is also behind crime drama "Flashpoint" with CBS. ABC just finished the first season of "Just for Laughs," also from Canada.
