OMD Taps Initiative's Cohen

Omnicom's OMD unit Friday named Alan Cohen CEO of OMD USA. Cohen, who had been president-worldwide innovation at Interpublic's Initiative Media unit, and president of its West Coast operations, joins OMD June 1, and will report Page Thompson, CEO OMD North America. Before joining Initiative, Cohen was a well known media and entertainment industry marketer, and held top marketing posts at Fox, ABC and NBC.
