MediaDailyNews titled "Bad Read: Newspaper Circs Fall Again" overstated the declines in circulation at the
San Francisco Chronicle between the second half
of 2007 and the second half of 2008. Daily circulation only declined 4.2%, to 370,345, and Sunday circulation only declined 3.1%, to 424,603--not 14.1% and 16.6%, respectively, as stated.
