Maidenform Taps Gardner For DKNY License

The Iselin, N.J.-based intimate apparel maker has appointed Robert
Gardner GM of the new Donna Karan and DKNY women's intimate apparel license announced on May 6. In this role, Gardner will oversee all key aspects of the business which is expected to launch at the beginning of 2009.
Most recently, Gardner was vice president of sales for Maidenform's Department Store Business. Prior to that, he worked in driving sales for Warnaco's Calvin Klein division, as well as having sales responsibilities for Tommy Hilfiger at VF Corporation.
