NetCreations/PostMasterDirect yesterday held a breakfast to announced a positive trend in the performance of campaigns mailed to its managed lists. The data, which was gathered by an overall query of the approximately 5,300 tracked campaigns sent by the firm, showed a 60% increase in the average click-through rate per campaign from Q4 2002 to date. The report shows the current quarter to be at an average 5.1%, compared to 4.4% for Q1 2003 and 3.2% for Q4 2002. "These figures illustrate that responsible email marketing is alive and well, particularly if one manages all the moving parts effectively" stated Michael Mayor, President of NetCreations. "Rates like these just don't happen. We are fortunate enough to have the best staff and technology in the business. All of us are very passionate about this business and optimistic about where email marketing is headed."
