Forbes.com Plans Network Aimed At Female Execs

  • May 21, 2008
Forbes.com plans to launch a new network aimed at women executives in the next few months. Patterned after Forbes.com's existing CEO Network for C-level executives, the Executive Women's Network will offer original content from Forbes.com and ForbesLife Executive Woman magazine in a new section on the site.

Membership in the network is by invitation only. The initiative will feature a community where women can create profiles, post content and share ideas and information with other professionals. The move marks the latest effort by Forbes.com to create a series of niche content areas intended to appeal to advertisers' desire for targeted ad buys.

Forbes.com has launched ad networks focused on its own online properties as well as a group of outside business and financial blogs.
