Traxee Helps Female Runners Connect Online

  • June 10, 2008
Traxee, the newest fitness-focused online community for women has gone live. The site (www.traxee.com) is geared toward female runners of all ages, offering runner's news, product reviews and nutritional info as well as tools for tracking fitness goals and progress.

Los Angeles-based Tuesday Creative is the interactive agency behind the site, which was founded by ad industry vets Beth Moore and Julie Running. According to Running, Traxee hones in on the deeper science of running while offering social activity at the same time--and that's what differentiates the community from the host of other women-focused fitness sites out there.

"We realized there are lots of sports-related media out there for women," Running said. "However, much of this media focuses on fashion, weight loss and other superfluous issues--we wanted to create a place for the women who are serious about their running and recognize that fitness is a lifestyle."
