Former Google Exec Joins Glam Media

Glam Media announced that Michael Adair, former head of sales finance for Google North America, will join the company as vice president of corporate development and Finance. In this newly created position, Adair will be responsible for the evaluation and execution of Glam Media's strategic investments, corporate development and corporate finance.

The appointment is part of Glam's growing global and corporate development initiatives. In May 2008, Glam appointed Bruce Jaffe, former corporate vice president for corporate development at Microsoft, to Glam's advisory board to help build the strategy corporate development.

While at Google, Adair directed Google's North American sales finance team and worked closely with Google's president of advertising and commerce. Adair helped lead the team that managed strategic acquisitions responsible for over $3.5 billion in revenue, including dMarc, YouTube and DoubleClick. Prior to joining Google, Michael worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers, where he served in their communications and media group. --Tanya Irwin
