Last Walker Episode Set for May 12

(AP) - Fans of "Walker, Texas Ranger" know there are just a few first-run episodes to go before he rides off into the sunset. Chuck Norris told the Los Angeles Times that he wanted to leave while the "show is still popular." "You hate to be like a boxer who is fighting and they remember him as a loser rather than a winner," Norris said. The show has been on CBS for eight seasons, and a special series finale will air May 12. The two-hour special will feature parallel story lines for the modern-day Walker and his 19th century counterpart, Hayes Cooper.
