Time Warner's TMZ Exec Joins Buzznet Inc.

Alan Citron, former general manager of TMZ and founding president of MusicNet, has been selected to head special projects for Buzznet Inc.
In this newly created position, Citron will advise on business and editorial strategies to drive greater usage and revenue from the company's offerings, which now reach over 30 million consumers a month.
Citron brings more than 25 years experience in Internet services, music, entertainment and journalism to Buzznet. Prior to TMZ, he was senior vice president of marketing at Movielink, the online film pioneer that was a joint venture among Warner Bros. Studios, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Sony Pictures Entertainment and MGM.--Tanya Irwin
