Now celebrating its 5th year, The Online Hip Hop Awards will be held on May 3, 2001 at the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom in New York, and can be seen as a live Webcast on May 3, as well as, for the
first time ever, on television. The television premiere will take place on the Metro Channel in New York, followed by a national broadcast on MuchMusic USA. Under this new agreement, The 5th Annual
Online Hip Hop Awards will reach more than 25 million households nationally. Rapper, Redman, and Angie Martinez will be hosting the event on TV, while the animated character Undercover Brother will be
hosting the festivities in the virtual world.
