ABC News Radio has earned three National Headliner Awards in radio categories, which will be presented at a ceremony on Saturday, May 5th, in Atlantic City. ABC News Radio earned the first place
award in the category of spot news, all markets, for "Violence in Israel," and second place awards were taken home in the categories of best newscast, all markets, for September 1, 2000, and
continuing coverage of a single news event, all markets, for "The Elian Gonzalez Story." The National Headliner Awards are given by the Press Club of Atlantic City.
