If you're looking for a country audience, KZLA is the radio station for you. According to the Winter 2001 Arbitron Ratings, released today, Los Angeles country radio station KZLA is the most listened-to country station in America with over 760,000 people tuning in each week.

The station's ratings have increased in every targeted demographic: Persons 12+, 2.6 to 2.9, +12% increase; Adults 25-54, 2.8 to 3.0, +7% increase; Women 25-54, 3.2 to 3.5, +9% increase; Men 25-54, 2.5 to 2.6, +4% increase; Weekends (25-54), 2.9 to 3.5, +20% increase; Station 12+Cume (audience), 700,000 to 760,000, +8% increase.

"I think this goes to show that the country audience in Southern California is a viable one," said RJ Curtis, KZLA program director, "and with consistent aggressive marketing and attention to our product, we can continue to grow the country brand in Los Angeles and Orange County."
