The number one Media Metrix site for the week ending August 20 was Yahoo.com with 10,611,000 average daily unique visitors. MSN.com took second place with 9,413,000 average daily unique visitors, followed by Hotmail.com (5,052,000), Passport.com (4,139,000), Microsoft.com (4,106,000), Netscape.com (3,854,000), AOL.com (3,455,000), Lycos (2,068,000), GO.com (1,998,000), and Excite (1,890,000). SendAFriend.com found itself at the top of the Media Metrix top ten gainers for the week ending August 20 with a 92.6% change in average daily unique visitors from the previous 3-week average. It was followed by EZBoard.com (82.9%), PGATour.com (69.3%), BizLand.com (69.2%), HomeFansOnly.com (63.6%), Dash.com (60.5%), Gte (58.1%), StoreRunner.com (57.9%), USPS.com (57.8%), and PlanetRx.com (55.3%).
