PBS walked away with 10 news Emmys on Monday, handily beating CNN and MSBNC, which came up empty. (Fox News doesn't enter.) ABC News won four Emmys. Also, "Dan Rather Reports" on HDNet won for its
"Combat Photographer" story. CBS didn't win, either, but CBS veteran Bob Schieffer and PBS documentary filmmaker Ken Burns received Lifetime Achievement Awards. Tim Russert received a posthumous one
accepted by his son Luke.
