New York Times Reports Increased Internet Traffic for February

The New York Times Company reported that for the month of February, year-over-year traffic increased at the two largest Web sites of New York Times Digital, its Internet division. The Internet traffic results for February 2001 versus February 2000 were as follows:

* Page views rose 65.5% at NYTimes.com and 43.7% at Boston.com.

* Sessions or visits grew 64.0% at NYTimes.com and 5.7% at Boston.com.
