HomeAway Chooses Agencies Of Record

HomeAway, Inc., an online vacation rental marketplace, has selected Publicis in the West and Digitas as its agencies of record. The new relationship begins immediately, with work hitting in early 2009.
Publicis in the West will be responsible for the global brand strategy and creative, and Digitas will lead online creative and media. Together, the agencies are charged with developing brand strategy and marketing communications to drive the growth of the HomeAway brands and the vacation rental industry.
Publicis--in the West, based in Seattle--and Digitas, in New York, were two of the four agency finalists competing for the business. The pitch was conducted internally from the HomeAway headquarters in Austin, Texas. --Gavin O'Malley
